ORDERING PROCEDURE
STEP ONE: How do I get started? It is important that I speak with you directly or that we communicate through email to discuss your subject matter and other details of your custom picture. Please note, I don’t work from an existing “professional” photo portrait! The exception would be very old portrait photos – say, old sepias of your grandparents.
I specialize in those special “candid” moments that might otherwise get lost in a drawer or tucked in among photos from your last vacation. I can work from a photo that isn’t quite clear, or the color is a bit off, but that I enhance through reference to other photos of the subject. I can also combine images from separate photos into one painting.
STEP TWO: Once we have agreed upon the subject, I will need a hard copy or clear digital image of the photo (emailed or send me a CD of your photos), plus your deposit check for $25. Any original photos and/or CDs that I receive will be returned to you. Turnaround time varies, but typically, I can have your completed project finished within four to six weeks.
STEP THREE: Final payment is due upon completion of your project. Cost includes shipping and handling. Black & white: 8x10 or smaller: $175; Color 8X10 or smaller: $250 -$275; larger drawings, add $50 for each 2 inch increase in size.
